Mystery Of Sympathy

A small village on the bank of river
stack of stinking filth on every corner
people were forced to breathe in ***** stench
no one took care of the destitute villagers
torn clothes on children's body
didn't have bread to satiate the hunger
perhaps their happiness was lost
in the fumes of poverty and helplessness
Malnutrition ruled the entire village
To this day, in this poor village
no school in the village, no hospital
the village was deprived of all the privileges
but today, suddenly food was being distributed
clothes were being donated
innocent and young children didn't know
why is God so merciful to them today?
Nobody could understand deep roots of this mystery
a village where the sun never shines,
the moon never pops in and
little stars never twinkle
why suddenly the ocean of humanity began to flow?
But humanity was neither annihilated nor destroyed
in the candid hearts of villagers
curiosity forced me to know this secret
then an old villager told that
the elections are to be held soon
the sympathy game was to grab their votes
then came to understand
the strange and deep mystery of sympathy
