Poker
We share a stare across the table.
Her eyes glow with uncertainty.
Her mind becoming unstable.
This seems to be taking an eternity.
My moves, as smooth as her skin.
I saw she was open
so i went all in,
but inside she was broken.
She is hesitant,
strong, but confused,
suffereing, but resilient.
Life left her bruised.
My time is running out.
I throw my cards down
so she can have no doubt.
Will she follow?, or will she just frown?
