How buried is your brain
Is it so deep you've gone insane
Or is it centimeters from achieving fame
Whether it is or not you are not to blame
It could take your whole life to tame
Is your heart still beating
Is the flutter fleeting
Or is it planting seedlings
Is it big and strong
Or weak and wrong
Whether it is or not you are not to blame
It could take your whole life to tame
Are your eyes still pearly white
Or are your eyes full of fire and fight
With the light, you'll have your sight
Not every day but on quiet nights
Are they still breathtaking in a good way
I know it's hard for you to say
Whether they are or they're not you are not to blame
It could take your whole life to obtain
