Lights,
In the street,
A long, long row.
Arching and curving,
To the end of the road.
Lights,
In the street,
A cortege.
Little bright specks,
Stretching far,
Far,
Far.
Away they stretch,
Behind the bend,
Bequeathing a glow,
A luminous thread.
