Can't hold, can't sustain, can't maintain
the thought that lingers in my mind.
I yelled, i shout at myself, stop!
Stop thinking the notion of going back.
But i held her at my arms and so she held my face.
We stood there for a couple of minutes no words
just a calming silence, relief.
A sense of kindness was all i needed
my thought now homed and settled.
