A Soul Speaking

For as long as I live,

Whether it be an hour, or weeks of years,

I’ll remember friendship you give,

Of true soul-mate feelings,

Softness of your smile,

Tempered steel of your heart,

Your twinkling silver misty blue eyes,

You a disguised angel, thou art,

Thou our measured time be short or long,

There is a private place,

Waiting deep in my heart,

Where you can turn your face,

Through all our universe of space,

And millions of miles beyond,

Past dust of all time,

Your soul speaks to me.
