pampered
in our little home
of great abundance
curiosity
unknowing
that we soon would be
weary
dry, dusty
in a land of wonders and of hardships
a soul had missed
their echo rings through the woods
i ever remember
we bid farewell
we watched as our
great fortune floated away
and no
gold or silver
we
indulge in
can replace
the
unavoidable
price of
our weeping
westward expansion
