Overrated Soulmate

Like a boat upon the sea

Or a train upon its tracks

You're the only path I see

And I know you won't take me back

Its not enough that I love you

Its not enough that I can't breathe

But without you I'm just

A leaf caught in the breeze

No destination

No place in sight

Just coasting along

Hoping you'll see my side

See, I was lonely and confused

Not sure what I was supposed to do

My heart was beaten and bruised

But I guess there is no excuse

I can't go a day without crying

Or a week without pain

As long as you're what I want

I can't quit you like you're *******

Its over now, its done with

I've moved on, I'm on my way

Life holds so much more for me

So forget you, I'm not gonna stay

I've changed, I'm a free woman

Got my hat on straight

On the road to recovery

I don't need an overrated soulmate
