Call for something greater,
A horse with name long forgotten,
A smile given never to return,
Taken across the sea,
Where the lover might be.
But is not.

He is lost to our eyes,
We are lost to his voice,
He’s one with the horizon
Carrying our hopes and dreams.
They mix with the well of life,
They’re nothing now.

He’s nothing now.
