Broken Mirror
in my mind.
Always to remind.
Trapped
in the dark,
with nothing
but the sound
of the clinking of the shards.
Your animalistic ways,
running fast until
you've caught
your prey.
But I fought,
and still do everyday.
I never asked for this
and I never asked for you,
Just because you're a man
and I'm a woman,
don't be so quick
to assume.
I've kept you
locked in my mind
trying to forget that day,
what gives you the right
to feel it's alright
to suddenly message me
and say "HEY"
