Palm trees towering over me
The delicate blue sky evoking the sea
How I long to remain in this company

Dragonfly you pass me by
Not noticing the wonder in my eye
If only you could see the awe you inspire

A travellers mind it is hard to grasp
How much we have seen
How much we have passed

The colours of the world never cease to amaze
The busy people hurry on
