A callous crowd but our souls are conspiring
Compliment my conscience, convince me of clarity.
Take all my thoughts as we intertwine
wondering how we waltzed away our time.

A dance, a dash, the shutting of a door
Promise to return? For, my dear, I will forever yearn
For your radiance rushing through me
I will let your laughter consume me
and I shall soon be doomed by your mercy
You might shatter me and I will gladly,
glue myself together and together again and again

For not a day goes by that I do not think back
to the look that first lit the fire in my eyes

This is the first time you fell in love with me.
