Mar 2012
with you,
it was a black hole.
i wavered at the edge,
white-knuckled and shy.

you took all the praise i could
give, and you took it with
a malevolent smile.
you gorged on it.

it was unnatural,
this desire i had to
love you;
a desire to be the
friend i'd never had.

so i loved.
you were a sister,
my confidant.
i trusted you
with my soul.

like a ***** on
her knees, you
lapped it up thirstily.

and like a ***** on
her knees, you
spat it into the mud.

i gave so much love,
to you, my friend, that
i had none left for myself.
