The Dark Blue Night

In the dark hallway I cry
Looking towards the glimpse of light
Shadows sneaking, being sly
Just me, the shadows and the dark blue night

I step outside l, to the dark blue night
Rain clouds endless till out of sight
Rain drops, continuous, showering the trees
The wind so cold, I drop to my knees

I hear a wolf cry, in sorrow and pain
I walk towards it, not bothered by the rain
I run and run to the call out of sight
And now i was one with the dark blue night

I move swiftly without caution or fright
Dodging the trees of the dark blue night
I stop to the sound of the cowering whimper
I look around, but all I can see is the dark wet timber

There is the smell of though wet fur
A few more step and there, I see her
She's caught in a trap, blood dripping down her paw
I had to save her soon, she couldnt take much more

So there we were now free from sorrow
She was no longer devoured in fright
I now see no more loneliness in sight
So together we stayed in the dark blue night
