Pockets full of Stones
How could I ever
I don't want to forget.
The way my fingers
knot up together as I fret.
Every thing I remember
It means nothing to me
We've had our time here
Just leave it be
This person I heard
Only 2 years old than I
floated down, down stream
No one ever got to say goodbye.
I've wanted to leave
but I don't want to be missed
I wanted to be forgotten
but I want to remember,
Every face I have faced
Ever love I have loved.
My time is here is up
I've hung up the phone
I stand above ground level
with my pockets full of stones.
