My window is waiting

For an eye to perceive

A world outside this hysterical mechanical madness

Once I gaze into a cities relentless motion

I may find cause for night owl tendencies

A sun rises without incident

Where once a darkened structure was pondered

I now see it's true form illuminated

With ancient sight accented by a chemical horizon

I find a space full of nonsense anatomy

A red light guru makes haste for a new creation

While insect youth snap and capture another piece of pain

post and hit that thumbs up

Your joy is trivial

and that moment still exists as you  indulge in some digital vanity

A giant sits silently

Concrete choked and stagnant

it's stone weary face

Faded and stained by times indifferent coating

Family units flow

Fabulous facades for navigating

Eyes cancelled by smart technology

Complacent gazes for distracting

Nod until whip lash

Ignore this seamless beauty now trampled

Ignore these faded rantings of a bus stop patron

He made sense for some

But the rest just see another life casualty
