Dec 2016
Some minds always on simmer
simply boil over very easily
while others frozen and frigid
need the melting heat of a volcano
to thaw them.

But you have the flame of the sun
with the coolness of the neon light
And like a firefly to the lamp
am drawn to it.

Flaming sometimes
soothing coolness sometimes,
the natural rhythm of your soul
like waves over the parched sands
of a sun scorched beach.

I wait everyday
for your tides to wash over me
again and again and again...

Seagulls i see diving
into your froth each day
To catch the gleam they see
in your flaming surf.

But I wait for your ebbs to come
again and again and again
coz its never enough
and yearn for you to come again!
