You are older than me.
By about a month it would seem.
Older than me,
And persistent in teaching me.
Though you are older than me,
You are not always the brightest,
Not always the wisest.
But being older than me,
You know how to protect me.
And appreciate my greed.
My voice of solid reason,
The clarity I need.
You are older than me,
And you know it,
You've been prepared for all I need.
