Nov 2016
It crashes and turns and churns,
blue against blue,
kelp against seaweed,
trash against sand, as it nears the shore.

It reaches out
to grab, to get, to kidnap,

And he,
I,
we,
flinch,
back away,

And the waves reside,
back into the chaos of the ocean.
