"Love From Afar"
It's cold and dreary just outside
we may be miles apart;
But with your love so deep inside
It's warm inside my heart!
The rain will fall through stormy skies,
as lightning fills the air;
Yet never once can get me down
with love, this love we share!
The sunbeam shines through cloudy sky
a ray of purest light;
The fullest moon I've ever seen
my brightest star at night!
A choppy sea with angry waves,
a battered sail so torn;
My saving grace, your endless love,
my lighthouse safe on shore!
This gorgeous love we share each day
pure love too few have seen;
Burnt orange mixed with powder blue
my sunset made of dreams!
So now, you see you're everything
my all is what you are;
With love a thousand legions strong
abundant from afar!
