Before moving to Washington,
I was forewarned of the long stretches of rain,
And I though about how relieved I would be,
To not suffer through yet again,
Another Wisconsin winter,
And it's unforgiving cold.

But it is now that I sit in this rain,
Thinking of that cold,
And of the warm heart that resides within it,

Missing me.
