A carnival filled with laughter and colorful costumes as people dance and play. Music sweeps through the air and brings joy and sorrow to the heart. The feeling of mirth is everywhere, but you feel hollow and alone. Among a crowd that has come to celebrate, you know only emptiness. You wish that you could become part of the fabric of the celebration, but the colorful array of people and the air of celebration only reminds you of your state of mind. So you walk on through the crowd and try to smile, but the vision you have of what you would like life to be is skewed by the fantasy that is playing out around you.
