lay down
   shut your eyes
  drift...
into yourself, landscapes
pure restful
  until you feel
the tickle
of sleep
then dream
of lost ways and found worlds
   special places
and times
   cheerful ways
or mystical moments
of dread
  and confused running
to unrecognized
   memories
or unknowns that may come
down your path
  jump away

or stay and let it
  navigate your
destiny in
  long arching
slow turns
     the way the
heavens emerge
  deep into the abyss
of time
    where reality
giggles and smiles back
  at you...
