I Bring nutrition
but your spoons are always black
So you still starve
who am I to judge?
I have my vices as well
just none that sinister

I found you two days later
arrangements unsteady
So I line them up to ease confusion
still you claim no perception feels whole

I found you one week later
nobody knew your name
But the eyes said freak
Indifferent walls built out of habit

I claimed this body was mine
We came from the same sandbox you see

I lift you up
but your eyes lack recognition
Strangers say leave it be
he doesn't belong to you
Smartphones capture pain
surely one million hits by tuesday

I look on in horror

No words to comprehend such brutality

Grabbing your soul I take you away from all this

Knowing now your need for escape

But I am unable to understand the need for obtaining it so destructively
