A body that doesn't sleep
Makes for a mind that doesn't keep

Unhinged chaos shattered night silence
The elephant in the room finally caved in

This one bled
this one prayed
This one laughed
this one played

Crow strewn solidarity through a black and white perception

A childish world left to it's own devices

Wanting trees
Neglected joy
Parks for the ***** stained fantasy

A vacant lot
A vacant eye
A knowing nod
A cosmic sigh

Crash course slum
Head first tendency
Simple machinery
Mainline normalcy

A memory of simpler times
left shaking and hysterical

Ride the steam till morning
Grand plans in the a.m.
Shrugged off in the p.m.

Pick and choose if the body must

But it all leads back to insomniac blues
