The Fire Burns
Poems
Oct 2016
Float on the Lake
Freed and relaxing
Laying on the deck
Only gentle ripples
And a brief breeze
Trade the boats stillness
One by one the stars emerge
Newly twinkling tonight
Transferring ancient light
Her eyes absorb and
Emit the stars sparkle
Laying here
And thinking of
Kissing you
Eager
