You faded into rumour
(Something my head heard my heart once say)
And now your ballet-flat footprints in the
Valleys of my mind fill with time and
Volcanic ash and the heat and the flash of
Our glorious supernova collapses into a
Dull grey chunk of **** and pig iron.

I look closely, and I see your thumbprint.

You're still with me.
