Sep 2016
the wind whips and whirls
through my sea of brunette locks
and I look out to the horizon
thinking back to when I shared
that beautiful view with a warm heart
and green eyes that were just like
the sway of emerald seaweed
so gentle and alive

waves crash down around me
and mists my pale face
and I can’t help but think
“what a beautiful disgrace”
