and all of the sudden
nature churns from the depths
a superhuman
a foundation
a stage
shoulders to put weight
on which
chaos performs
mistaken identities
bartering whiteness
out of control
begging for mercy
at its end
demanding intervention
fake worth
learning to love hatred
misplaced
ignoring birth
not unnoticed
failing
existing in nature’s realm of severity
all beat up
with its weaponized enemies
