We take our daily bread
To commemorate the body
And we consume the wine
To commemorate the blood
But we the same blood and spirit flows through all of us
Even as we are separate vessels
We all share the the same mind
And the same soul
We are all just different expressions of each other
Many shining lights in a glorious design
Mixing and flowing as we interact with each other
Even though we might not see
And though we tend to focus on the difference
We try and repel each other
And keep each other at a distance
We even hurt other people
Or knowingly allow others to get hurt because of our actions
And yet we are all the same spirit
We are just different expressions of the inner flame
That flows through the universe
And flows through all of us
We just need a chance
To see that inner flame within everyone
Shining bright below all of the blocks and barriers that we put up
We come from the same body
We come from the same spirit
We all share the same blood
We are all vessels
Just struggling to find the light
And return back to the source
