i think i'll walk the beach and crush sand under my feet
or maybe ride the subway standing still while i bounce about
i could walk the concrete walkway
or
         just stroll a grassy path
it's all just taking steps... look down or up
and watch the sun dance with the clouds... or trees whisper
and bend... or rock and roll as you hold on to the poll

just so you are going
heading out, moving along to your beat... making haste
or a slow retreat.. who's looking anyway...
if so, do they know ... where you're going or why...?
and tip your hat
if you haven't got one, just smile and keep strolling...
