Mourning
Blue Jay twitters and chipmunk chitters
Not unlike the grinding of teeth
I lay in my bed and I count in my head
All the ways woodland fauna decease
Then crow call made silent
That uproar so violent
Full seconds before sirens sound
So I am regretting for having forgetting
The valuable nature of sound
Morning.
