All that can be touched
And seen
Renders the verdict
All that cannot be seen
Or touched
Sows mankind's conflict
Stranger upon stranger
Bound by pride
And certainty's cause
In mortal combat
To demonize each other
Reaping evil's laws
No delusion
Or assurance
Can be true
When we hate
And ****
For what either will do
There is no master
Of a man's heart
Other than his own
And in preservation
Of one another
We may atone
For yesterdays end
And tomorrows death
In the face of our present reality
It is all we have
Unless we believe
That the true myth is our humanity
