Sep 2016
simple and smart with ageless agility
we plunge deeply into lost horizons and deep gullies
not caring or knowing what might emerge
sudden revolution or lustful urge

sanctimonious illusions can suddenly appear
with haunting regularity and imposition
imbibing our senses to shift and shake
resting references and deals to make

aloft in mighty submission and utterly free
focused and fearless in full battle gear
armed and alarmed to the dread ahead
counting one by one the ideas cold and dead

a champion for the senses as freedom pulls
proud in stature, straight and sure
will now no longer be amused or trusted
in years and days, all anticipation will soon be busted
