A Silent Scream

Silent, but screaming inside.

screaming as loud as I can

Waiting, just hoping someone will notice.

A smile on my face ,

A laugh in my throat,

But pain in my eyes.

A plea for help

For someone to notice,

That on the inside, I am broken

In pain, shredded, tattered, in pieces.

A silent scream in my eyes.

Waiting for someone to notice my pain.
