I thought I learnt
how to walk on them heels
with the risk of flight
and the shame faced plight
of knowing I could fall,
and the world will know it all,
but I thought I'd mastered the art
of walking on a difficult path,
with those heels on.

Apparently I had not,
so head over heels I went,
right into the circle of judgment,
and with my dark places exposed,
and the air on my face blowing cold
I just walked up,
and kept walking ahead.

With only a slight limp in sight.
