a portal is lifted
allowing words to escape
from mind
         to paper

with the
            tumbling
                          of
                               text
   i am filled with a release

chains
   that have bound my thoughts,
are broken
and expressive prose
fills the pages

writers block
no longer suffocates me
and i am filled
with the sweet breath
of poetry.
