i.
he is void
veins lined with steel and bone
quiet, locked away
she steps into his world
and fills a hole in his chest

ii.
her musings are silk
a siren's song unto the eternal night
she slips into his skin seamlessly
and she colored him blue
as the sun fell, so did his walls

iii.
his words are concrete
hardened by scourge and struggle
cracked hands caress soft skin
and he colored her grey
and she only smiled

iv.
she is color
decorated in feather and light
she, mystical and divine
paints his world a magnificent blue
he too fills a hole in her chest

v.
it is time
he, ethereal and scintillating
paints his world a beautiful yellow
she slips out of his skin
taking a piece of him with her

vi.
he is void once again
veins now soft and smooth
there is a hole in his chest
but this time
it's painted blue
