Memory Failure
One of these days
Where nothing’s right
A ******* up memory
With which to fight.
Forgetting things
I shouldn’t have
Hating how
It’s got so bad.
Causing trouble and confusion
For everyone else.
God please help me to be able
To help myself.
Between appointments missed
And kitchen fires
I feel like a circuit
With messed up wires.
I need to know
What I shouldn’t forget;
Dear God could you please
Just help me with it.
