What I once thought to be impossible; has now become quite possible. It struck me with stealth and strength, and quickly became my reality. How does one react gracefully or with any single grain of dignity when you feel like you are being robbed? Robbed of the peacefulness, the comfort, the seemingly-everlasting feeling of fulfillment. To have ever received these wondrous, indescribable happenings at any one moment in life is a gift; a gift that one would spend an eternity searching for if ever it were to diminish. When it seems that these gifts are being sabotaged, it creates an unnatural feeling that is born into the depth of your being. It spreads like a cancer, infecting your spirit and mind with a complexity of raw emotions. This specific feeling that I personally refer to, when described as physical pain, feels as though the flesh is slowly being pulled apart from one's body. When the flesh has been pulled back and pinned, there is then a forced act of removal during a state of extreme vulnerability. There is a darkness that knows exactly where to find the light within and ***** it out until satisfied. I believe that this occurrence is unique for every individual; Some feel deeply where others may fall short of the ability to recognize the presence of such deep emotion. I give great acknowledgement to the smallest, so-called insignificant instances. Instances as such may be perceived by others as petty or without importance, but for others they are not just perceived, but taken on heavily by the mind, the heart and the soul. The intensity and complexity of all these different emotions do weigh on one's mind, even those with the strongest of minds are susceptible to the weight of this burden. One cannot deny their natural instincts or intuition; one must first recognize this feeling and then search for their unique path that will lead them to the light. The light that was once integrated into every particle of one's body before the darkness came.
