A cold hand that pulls
back fast and lifts
high
or grabs your little
porcelain-doll wrist
   maybe to
break it
   a hand with snakey fingers
who
will crawl under sheets
of little flowers
  and hide in fields
    it should not
   It's always quiet like
serpents
and it's always what
love is not.
