Jul 2016
It lingers,
it stings,
it holds me by the throat,
I breathe in,
but take nothing,
that's when I start to choke,
I gasp,
I struggle,
I'm desperate,
I'm dying,
the lights are all fading,
there's no use in trying,
beneath me the floor shakes,
it rocks and it tumbles,
the chair tips,
I realize,
that now I'm in trouble,
suspended in air,
yes this is my day,
I'm floating, I'm leaving,
yes far far away.
