Hand feather
Slick my hair back
Spit devil
I need those strong bones
I have respect for skin
And its layers
Producing glucose
Sweat drenched and needy
Its harder to believe the haircut
They paid two hundred dollars for
Than to believe yours
Done with kitchen scissors
Barefoot on stones
Walking out to where
The green sea meets the blue sky
And never coming back
