Poems
Feb 2012
cupid took pity on me
cupid took his aim
shot through the heart
so different this time
the arrow struck deeper
his venom took it's course
heart, mind, body, and spirit
crazed motion, slurred emotions
i fell through destiny's walls
so he found his victim
steady and content
piercing my innocent core
cupid took pity on me
i begged of him one last thing
before i fell under the spell
"pray that i don't regret"
and was swept into a current of love.
