We walked through endless miles
at times we thought we could never make it
but through it all we would take it
and kept our dreams where love shines and smiles

We took the tears of our yesterday
and found the good in every tomorrow
when our hearts filled with sorrow
we let our love find it's way
and took this time we could only borrow
through it all we saw a better day

When words said we wished we could forget
that were spoken we soon would regret
we let love see past the pain
and knew what we had would remain
through it all we couldn't turn away
