“Let me rest
on your stones”,
the old shell said
to the unexpected rock,
“because the angry sea
tonight
doesn't grant peace.”
“Do rest, shell”,
the rock answered,
“but as a present
you must leave me your house”.
“Then I will leave you, rock”,
the shell replied,
“because I will die
of tiredness
but without a home
I would die before”.
