You were so afraid I wouldn't love you.
You'd never been with a straight girl
As a man before..  but you're all man to me.
You're strong and resilient,
Handsome and kind.
You can be a pain in the *** but in a good way
And I keep coming back for more.
You were so afraid I wouldn't love you
But I fell in love with you hard and fast.
Every inch of you is a new piece to love.
There are a lot of pieces you hate and
You still chose to share those with me.
Hesitantly, but I think you learned quickly
I love you anyway.
It's been a rocky road for us, you're going
Through a lot of changes and I've found myself
A bit stuck in the middle of it all
But if you can love me the way I love you then
Our rocky road is my yellow brick path.
