Worn down pencils and broken pens
Fingertips bleeding while words keep hammering down
Tears splash on the page
From the hearts  burning from rage
Let the naked truth consume
All you need is you
Let compassion drive your passion
Let kindness be your face
Use your words to pick the fallen up
Don't waste time trying to drag our brothers and sisters down
Only ego is at stake
When you use your voice
To spread ignorance and hate
Raise to mindfulness and wisdom
We are all one and the same
We can unite and survive
Survive and grow
Grow and thrive
Thrive and live
Hand to hand to hand
Not fist to fist to fist
Let fingers tangle
And souls converse
Let all eyes go blind
As our hearts learn
To make no distinction
Based on religion or race
One world one word
One love
Spread it like wildfire
And we will have
Heaven on earth
Let the gods retire
No more need to pray
On the day
We accept
Love as our
Only fate
