a stupid sucker sailing disgraced seas
finishing every sentence with thank you's and pleases
i never knew i'd grow to be so **** meek
but then again they say i'll inherit the earth next week

troubles and failures are piled and bunched
eating stale potato chips for breakfast and lunch
i feel like i'll never be able to get up
but then again they say i'll inherit the earth next month

crank open the hatch and pour down the beer
never got the concept of saying "cheers"
my muddled thoughts are always clouded by useless fears
but then again they say i'll inherit the earth next year
