I settle among the Golden flowers on a woven blanket to watch the children play. I turn the pages of a favorite book and wile the day away. With my bonnet in place, I let the suns rays warm my body. I lounge amongst the fields as an invisible part of a painting that is being created by a master in some other time. The sky is different hues of blue and the grass is green and gold, depending on where you look. All of the pieces are in place as the master piece is finished. A work done almost to perfection, entitled simply A Summers Day.
